Here we are, end of October of 2020. This year has impacted many people in different ways, from working remotely, staying home unless necessary, social distancing from family and friends, enforcing proper hygiene more than ever, seeing some of the busiest malls and outdoor activities cancelled, and some have even lost loved ones due to the pandemic. The list can go on, on how the pandemic has changed our lives. We have been able to adapt and move forward the best we can.
Since March 2020, we have all tried to help slow the curve by following guidelines set out by government, state, and local officials. Here we are in October 2020 seeing malls, restaurants and other businesses reopen with strict policies in place to help keep us safe while shopping/ dining out.
While we are seeing more people venturing out, we should always practice safety measures. Social distance, wear a face covering, practice good hygiene. However, as more businesses open, we have seen a number of COVID Cases increase. Shopping malls are one place you can expect crowds of people. Stores within the malls are practicing and enforcing safety precautions as much as they can but as consumers, we need to do our part and make sure to follow these guidelines, for our own safety. We cannot stress enough the importance of practicing safety measures, and as the holidays are just around the corner, many will want to gather, spend time with family and friends, shop and dine to celebrate the seasons, but please be aware if your surroundings and respect others space, we are in this together!
Here are a few safety tips to keep in mind if you are out:
– Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after touching doorknobs, countertops, chairs, trays, etc.
– Wear a face covering properly (covering nose, mouth and coming down past your chin) when out in public.
– Keep your distance (6 feet) from others. Most importantly if you are sick stay home.
We hope you are all well and staying safe during these times.
